A mobile road-residency with Lauren McCleary that traced Highway 12 across the northern westerly United States. The expedition involved daily bird-counts, genealogical research, post-office portraiture, late nights, long hauls, and early mornings. The project was documented in a chiastic process and culminated a progressive diptych series of up and down, light and shadow, over and out.
