Light-A-Tree Winter Wonderland

Mosey down to our special little park and enjoy the welcoming cheerful light displays made by local organizations, families, and friends.

Gingerbread House Extravaganza

︎Drop-off from 11AM-12PM on Saturday, December 18
at the Palouse Library
Submit your sweet creations to the gingerbread house decorating contest! Gingerbread houses will be on display in the St. Elmo and Library windows. Enter your house in one of the following categories: Adults, Team/Family, or Kids. The winner of each category will receive Chamber Bucks (from the Palouse Chamber of Commerce) to spend at downtown Palouse businesses. Riverby Books, our faraway friend, will also be sponsoring some extra special prizes for winners.

Christmas Cookie & Hot Cocoa Station (FREE!)

Downtown by City Hall
Stop by and grab a FREE Christmas cookie and cup of cocoa to celebrate the season.  Cookies will be individually packaged and donated by Palouse Christmas Elves (Teresa Myott, Janet Barstow, Tina Laughary, Tracy Lee Sievers, Connie Kuehner, Kay Youngblood, and others).  Any leftover cookies afterwards will be taken to PFC for the Christmas pageant.

Double-Feature Christmas Drive-In Movie

Bundle up, bring snacks, and drive downtown to watch holiday favorites safely among friends. Charlie Brown’s Christmas and The Muppets Christmas Carol will be projected on the flathouse, tune into the audio at 107.5 FM in your cars. Snacks will be available for purchase. Sponsored and organized by the Palouse Federated Church.

Join us for a virtual heartfelt hometown holiday program featuring songs and stories of holiday cheer from your friends and neighbors. If you’re interested in submitting a video (song, poem, greeting, etc.), please email Libby Akin for details. Video submissions are due by December 15th.

World Famous Palouse All-Town Christmas Parade

︎Thursday, December 23rd
Cars line up at 5:30PM, parade begins at 6PM sharp!
Meet at the Palouse Federated Church
Decorate your car with lights to join the Christmas Caroling Motorcade around the neighborhood. Meet at 5:30PM at PFC to line up in your cars. Dress warm because we’ll have our windows down blasting our carols on the radio! Listen to carols at home by tuning into 107.5 FM at 6pm and come out and wave as the parade rolls through your neighborhood! For those that live out of town, come congregate on Main Street!

at the Palouse Federated Church (635 N. Bridge Street)
Tune in here for details about our Christmas Eve Services. Don’t forget to bundle up and wear your Christmas mask. Everyone will have a chance to ring the church bell  :)  🤍 Merry Christmas to All and to All a Good Night 🤍
